This is the second paying customer I ever had for my web design business, WineCountryWebs.com. Buff Bredehoft is the owner of Buffalo Shipping Post in Napa. I went into his shop and looked around, trying to get a feel for how I wanted his site to look based on how he decorated his shop, and I think I did pretty well. I did have one young punk try to diss my design, but the thing is; I was designing around my customer, not forcing my customer to conform to my design. The site reflects his personality, and the personality of the store, and that is what it is all about, isn’t it?

Buff is a great guy; he and his wife would give you the shirt off their backs provided they felt it was appropriate, of course. Unfortunately, he was involved in my failed attempt to take over J&P Video here in Napa recently, and lost a lot of money. I will not say how much, that is not for me to disclose, but he was willing to help, and he has been more than gracious with me and my wife after the business failed. Of course, my long-term goal is to pay him off, but he is not pressuring me at all at this point, and since I have been unemployed for almost six months now, I am eternally grateful. Buff and his wife will always have my love and respect, and one day they will have their money back, too.
